Synthetic complex Weyl superconductors, chiral Josephson effect and synthetic half-vortices

We show that the most generic form of spin-singlet superconducting order parameter for chiral fermions is of the Δs+iγ5Δ5\Delta_s+i\gamma^5\Delta_5 where Δs\Delta_s is the usual order parameter and Δ5\Delta_5 is the pseudo-scalar order parameter. After factoring out the U(1)U(1) phase eiϕe^{i\phi}, this form of superconductivity admits yet additional complex structure in the plane of (Δs,Δ5)(\Delta_s,\Delta_5). The polar angle χ\chi in this plane dubbed chiral angle will be locked to the U(1)U(1) phase ϕ\phi. We propose a synthetic setup based on stacking of topological insulators (TIs) and superconductors (SCs). Alternatively flux biasing the superconductors with a fluxes ±Φ\pm\Phi leads to Δ5=Δ0sin(χ)\Delta_5=\Delta_0 \sin(\chi), where Δ0\Delta_0 is the superconducting order parameter of the SC layers, and the chiral angle χ=Φ/Φ0\chi=\Phi/\Phi_0 is directly given by the flux Φ\Phi in units of the flux quantum Φ0=h/(2e)\Phi_0=h/(2e). This can be used as a building block to construct a two-dimensional Josephson array. In this setup χ\chi will be a background field defining a pseudoscalar Δ5\Delta_5 that can be tuned to desired configuration. While in a uniform background field Δ5\Delta_5 the dynamics of ϕ\phi is given by standard XY model and its associated vortices, a {\em staggered} background ±Δ5\pm\Delta_5 (or equivalently χ\chi and χ+π\chi+\pi in alternating lattice sites) creates a new set of minima for the ϕ\phi field that will support half-vortex excitations. An isolated single synthetic "half-vortex" in the χ\chi field in an otherwise uniform background will bind a ϕ\phi-half-vortex. This is similar to the way a p-wave superconducting vortex core binds a Majorana fermion

PT. (X), Surabaya is one of company that manages toll road or highway that implement the shift system of work. Shift work has the potential for job stress and other health problems. The purpose of this research was to identify descriptive the level of job stress between shift work at the toll collector in PT. (X), Surabaya. This research was an observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. 36 toll collector who work when the morning shift, afternoon, and evening at the toll gate x, toll gate y and toll gate z were chosen as sample by using Proportional Random Sampling method. The results showed when the shift I (morning) there were 15 respondents (41.7%) suffered mild job stress and 21 respondents (58.3%) suffered moderate job stress. At the shift II (evening) there were 12 respondents (33.3%) suffered mild stress of work and 24 respondents (66.7%) suffered moderate job stress, while at the shift III (evening) were 9 respondents (25%) suffered light work stress and 27 respondents (75%) suffered moderate job stress. Based on the research results, it can be concluded the level of job stress between of shift work on the toll collectors suffered mild and moderate stress. The greatest frequency of respondents suffered moderate job stress. Recommendation for the company is review the system of career development and maintaining training activities, while for workers is use the time to rest and regular exercise
